Clear out and cash in: The benefits of reusing old IT equipment for companies

According to a recent survey conducted by Mantap Global on behalf of Dustin, involving over 1,800 IT procurement decision-makers in the Nordics and Benelux regions, more than half of all companies store outdated IT products instead of recycling or reusing them. This not only poses environmental and security risks but also leads to unnecessary costs.

Dustin’s Voxicon monitors achieve TCO certification

To meet the growing demand for more sustainable IT products, Dustin is now offering its own office monitors certified according to TCO Certified. As of 1 July, four monitors under Dustin's own brand, Voxicon, are sustainability certified.

Dustin and HP partner in circular IT

Dustin, a leading online based IT partner in the Nordics and the Benelux, now starts selling refurbished computers in partnership with the technology company HP. Together they are launching “HP Approved Selection.” The goal is to help companies take a step toward a more sustainable product portfolio and thereby contribute to a more circular economy.

Dustin increases proportion of takeback of IT products by over 80 per cent

14 October is International E-Waste Day, the purpose of which is to reduce the amount of electronic waste globally. Dustin wants to play a part in driving the trend towards a more circular IT industry, and the company is now seeing a rapidly growing demand for takeback of IT products among businesses. Over the last year, Dustin has increased its proportion of takeback by over 80 per cent.

Fredrik Rosenholm is the new Head of Sustainability at Dustin. As recently as August, he began in the role of Environmental Sustainability Manager at the IT-partner. Fredrik has 15 years of experience in the field of sustainability and was previously Head of Sustainability for H&M’s supply chain and Sustainability Director at Paulig Group.
