New Head of Sustainability at Dustin
Sandra Klackenborn has been appointed the new Head of Sustainability at Dustin. Sandra has more than ten years’ experience of sustainability work and has most recently had the role of head of sustainability at Ferronordic. Prior to that, she worked with sustainability issues at Telia.
- I am looking forward to being part of the journey to achieve our ambitious sustainability targets by 2030. With my background and earlier experience of the industry, I hope to be able to make a substantial contribution. In addition, I am passionate about taking a proactive approach to human rights and social justice in our supply chain, as well as continuing to expand sustainability awareness internally, says Sandra Klackenborn, Head of Sustainability at Dustin.
Dustin launched a new sustainability strategy in September 2020. The strategy is based on three global challenges that society at large is now facing and where Dustin can help bring about change: climate change, unsustainable resource consumption and social inequalities. The strategy consists of three measurable goals, which state that by 2030 Dustin shall:
- have zero climate impact across the value chain.
- be 100 per cent circular.
- have taken 100 actions for social equality across the value chain.
- I am very pleased that Sandra has accepted the role of Head of Sustainability at Dustin. Her experience of international and complex organisations, combined with her proactive and pragmatic attitude and inclusive approach will be valuable in the work in progress to achieve our sustainability targets, says Martin Lindecrantz, EVP HR & Sustainability, Dustin.
